Nothing happens unless
first we dream.
When Ettore Bugatti made the decision to leave his artistic career and focus all his energy on the creation of spectacular ‘automotive works of art’, which combined unique style with state-of-the-art engineering and technology, the world of car manufacturing underwent something of a revolution.
Thanks to Bugatti, the automobile went from being a futuristic medium for enthusiasts of technology and innovation to a luxury must-have for connoisseurs of style and elegance.
This tradition is still very much relevant today. In fact, Bugatti cars come complete with a series of bespoke travel accessories: the perfect response to any conceivable need. This is how the first Bugatti Bag was born: designed as an innovative, chic accessory. The aim was to obtain the best possible performance from a bag, which simultaneously expressed artisanal excellence and meticulous attention to detail. The bag was the result of a fruitful professional collaboration with Emìle Hermés, who along with Ettore shared a passion for the equestrian world as well as the crafting of exquisite items.
The very first model, designed in 1923, was developed vertically, it was very deep and featured a single zip with a clasp, thus making it the first ever bag with that particular kind of fastening. The double handles on the bag was another new feature, made from rolled pieces of leather they made it extremely comfortable to carry, the comfort factor was further enhanced by a removable shoulder strap.
