After London and Tokyo, the Blue of Bugatti lightened up the night of Munich. On the 17th of March, the Bavarian capital’s glitterati came together at Frauenstraße 30 to celebrate the opening of the first Bugatti showroom and lifestyle boutique in Germany .

Blue was once again the colour of the night and the dominant theme, marking both the
dress code of a carefully selected guest list and the fine interiors of the boutique itself. Everyone attending wore at least one blue item, blending in next to the true new star of every Bugatti showroom: the newly launched Chiron. An elegant blue lighting dressed up the whole building facade for the night, while the guests started to make their way through a velvet barrier rope-lined red carpet. On arrival, everyone was welcomed with a bubbly flute, served along with exclusive Blue signature cocktails, allowing guests to immediately mingle in the stylish foyer area.

Germany is one of Bugatti’s most important markets in Europe, counting 40 collectors already owning a Veyron supercar and about 10 per cent of the orders for the new Chiron already received. Against this backdrop, the new opening of Munich stands out as a strategic move, as highlighted during his inaugural speech by Stefan Brungs, member of the Board of Directors of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. and responsible for sales, marketing, customer service and brand lifestyle: “In Munich we can see an extremely effective combination of vehicle presentation and brand lifestyle: the momentum gathered by Bugatti at our show presentation in Geneva will continue here in Munich.

His enthusiasm was echoed by the words of Rainer Dörr, Managing Director of the Dörr Group, Bugatti’s partner for Munich as well as for the headquarters in Frankfurt. “It is a great privilege for us to partner up with Bugatti and to be able to offer our customers not only this unique super sports car but also the exquisite Ettore Bugatti Collection in appropriate surroundings”, said Rainer Dörr. “The opening of the showroom and the boutique” he added “is a major event in the history of the company. It means a great deal to me and to my team. We are looking forward to stepping on the gas in Munich for Bugatti.

Brung and Dörr then proceeded to cut the blue tape and the party got started. To the tune of the motto “The Blue of Munich”, guests enjoyed a stylish evening during which they could socialise whilst browsing the Ettore Bugatti spring/summer clothing and accessories collections, from the EB Ettore Bugatti line to the Bugatti Performance line. For many, the party also served as an opportunity to get acquainted with the luxury interiors of the wonderful Chiron.
