Bugatti Vision GT

From pixels to carbon fiber is but a short step. Bugatti was a showstopper at Frankfurt’s 66th International Motor Show with its Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo. The dashing racer, born as a virtual project for Gran Turismo 6, ended up as a real-life model presented at the German auto show. With it came a new, exclusive capsule collection, designed for the occasion by the Lifestyle Bugatti team.

T-shirts bearing the Bugatti Vision GT front grille design or canvas baseball caps in typical two-tone blue, with the logo sewn both on the inside and on the front crown, are now available to millions of fans worldwide. The whopping fan base - 68 million copies of Gran Turismo sold so far - can now drive their Vision GT in style, even if from the control pad of a PlayStation console. “This project is our way of thanking our countless fans scattered around the world for their enthusiasm and loyalty over the years” said Wolfgang Dürheimer, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S.

Vision GT is a Bugatti through and through, incorporating such brand values as art, form and technique. Every car component performs a real function: a virtual design that could be transferred onto a real product, showing the French carmaker the path to its future. “Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is the first stage on a new journey that Bugatti is embarking on, which will culminate in the unveiling of the next Bugatti super sports car in the not-too-distant future”, added Wolfgang Dürheimer.

A taste of Bugatti’s next chapter then.
